Goals

To travel to each church in the Winston-Salem/Greenville District two times a year and preside over the Quarterly Conference, and:

(a) License persons to preach and renew local preacher's license.

(b) In accordance with the Discipline, decide all questions of law and disciplinary procedures.

(c) Represent the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in transactions related to the purchase, sale, and encumbrances of the property of local congregations.

(d) Confirm the elected officers of local congregations and delegates elected to the Annual Conference.

(e) To receive, receipt, and forward to the Annual Conference treasurer all Connectional funds, Annual Conference claims and any other funds that may be reported by pastors, local congregations, and other persons within the Winston-Salem/Greenville District as directed by the Presiding Bishop.

To provide two training sessions each Conference year: one with an outside speaker and the other with each District Conference Officers providing a training session in the area of their expertise.
