District President, Sister Dinah Pettigrew

Mission Statement

The Women’s Missionary Society of the Winston-Salem/Greenville District will minister to the needs of our neighbors; by sharing the good news of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and by serving humanity as we let our lights so shine through our worship, witness and work.

Goals

¨To do at least one training workshop on each zone this year.

¨To complete our study guides lessons at each zone meeting.

¨To do a district-wide service project (food, clothing, and school supplies) on the Western Zone in co-junction with the B.O.E.

¨To do at least one organization and promotions project (Birthday/Anniversary calendar) this year.

¨To continue support to the Tenth Episcopal District.

¨To give a book stipend on each zone.

¨To plan a fellowship retreat.

¨To assist our region president with a food give-away in December and a clothing giveaway in the spring.

¨To encourage each missionary across the district to pay $5.00 toward the H.O.P.E. project.

¨To sponsor a joint service and/or program on each zone.
