Mission Statement

To provide study groups for licentiates who are preparing to be examined by the Annual Conference Committee on Ministerial Examination and discuss role and leadership expectations of Local Preachers, Deacons, and Elders.

Goals

1. Use the Bishop’s Course of Study as the principle guide for preparing for the Annual Conference Committee on Ministerial Examination.
2. Discuss the Role and Leadership expectation for the Local Preacher, Local Deacon, Traveling Deacon, as well as Local Elder and Traveling Elder.
3. Provide a list of who attended the Study Groups, detailing what Study Group they attended.
4. Properly communicate with the Elder regarding the Study Groups.

Announcements

Expectations:

1.  If you are being recommending through your local Quarterly Conference to serve as a Local Preacher, to be Admitted on Trial, or you are preparing to meet with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Annual Conference Committee on Ministerial Examination, then you should attend the respective Study Group on the scheduled date and time that it will be held.

2.  Please bring your Bible, Discipline, pencil/pen, and Writing Paper.

Dear Pastor(s):

In accordance with the discipline of our Zion and the presiding Elder of the Winston-Salem Greenville District training session for all preachers have been established.

The following is the date, time and place.

1. Admitted on Trial February 20, 2010 Time: 9:00am-12 noon

2. 1st and 2nd Year February 27, 2010 Time: 9:00am-12 noon

3. 3rd and 4th Year March 6, 2010 Time: 9:00am-12 noon
