OBJECTIVES

1. We will work closely with our Presiding Elder, the Pastors and members of our district to fulfill this mandate and the needs of the people.

2. Information will be obtained on the status and functioning of the local boards by way of the Evangelism questionnaire.  This form will be given to each of the pastors to fill out during our District training sessions and it will be turned in to the President so that the board can try to address the needs and concerns of the churches throughout the conference year.

3.
We will distribute information that is handed down by the Annual board to the churches and ask for representatives throughout the district to attend the various functions and or events sponsored by the Annual board

4. We will conduct a district workshop on “How to Make Your Church People Friendly.” We will also conduct individual workshops within the three zones. Also, some evangelism material will be available during district training sessions.

5.  During these days people will be able to take part of a three day fast at their own discretion. We will be focusing on our upcoming General Conference; our CME churches; Bishops, pastors, and the leaders.

6.
We will ask the pastors along with their congregation to set aside time during their morning worship service on Pentecostal Sunday, May 23, 2010 to dedicate that time towards prayer for the concerns of the world of the various nations and countries etc. This will be the 10th anniversary of Global Day of Prayer where religious leaders of all nation unit for three days discussing concerns of the nations and on May 23, 2010 praying together, uniting as one praying to Our Father; It will be suggested to the congregation to write down news they read about or see on television or even bring in articles of concerns and give them to the pastor to be read aloud during that time.

7.  We will host a t-shirt fundraising; seven designated sellers throughout the district will be responsible for selling the t-shirts to church family, their family, friends, co-workers etc.
